Buddy and Kerry Crowe of the Southern Highland Wines Runamuk Race Team are en-route to Round 3 of the Australian Off Road Championship held this weekend at Baroota in the mid north of South Australia.

922b_sm This family based national off road racing team are pumped about the new race in Baroota and are looking forward to the challenges the new circuit will bring.

With the engine woes of Round 1 the ARB Pinjarra Engineering Hyden 450 in Western Australia and Round 2 the Tattersall’s Finke Desert Race behind them, the team are headed to South Australia with true intentions of grabbing some Australian Off Road Championship points.

“Yeah, the Jimco has been off song for the last two national meetings, but we still managed a top ten finish at Finke while running at about 50%, so we know we’re quick enough, we just have to make it all come together on the weekend. We have the engine dramas sorted now, and with the national points are all over the place at the moment, we are heading south with our race faces on” explained Buddy Crowe Snr.

With the eldest of the Crowe pride, daughter Alisha, having to stay home with work commitments, it will be Buddy Jnr that will have his hands full running the Runamuk Race Team over the weekend.

“I’ve been doing this my entire life and I am really looking forward to the responsibility of running the team this weekend. Dad and I have gone over the whole car since Finke and we’re ready to race. The cars good, Mum’s good, Dad’s good, we should be good” shrieked an excited Buddy Jnr.

Runamuk Racing would like to thank Southern Highland Wines for their continued support in their Australian Off Road Championship campaign and look forward to getting down and dirty this weekend.
